Today, the papers for our new apartment are finalised. It will be our first place together. I am having a nightmare of trying to budget our furnitures for our new apartment.
Some things I would rather buy new but others I could not be bothered. But what I hate the most is the dip into our savings.
O wells. Nobody said starting up was easy. I am definitely shipping these furnitures back to Australia when we move back. I aint spending that much and having to do the whole lot again back in Perth.
I really would like to sort all of these before I start work on Sunday. So tomorrow, Im dragging Daniel (kicking and grunting) to the Mall of Emirates to buy our furnitures. I know what Im getting as Ive been scouting around and taking pictures of the ones that I like.
A friend of mine emailed me this picture - and it is beautiful! Its the Oz Day Fireworks at the Hillarys Marina (right in my backyard) and more than anything, it makes me feel homesick. (Can you spot the comet in the picture? And what is with the lightning on the right? Is this picture for real?)
