Muahahahahahah...I am laughing so hard. Just read this excerpt from an article:

"US restaurant chain Hooters, renowned for its scantily clad waitresses, could open its first of three outlets in Dubai by the end of the year, the company’s local partner said on Tuesday.

The opening would mark the restaurant chain’s entry into the Muslim world, and could spark controversy due to the waitresses’ famous uniforms, which consist of revealing singlets and hotpants.

Al Shaheen said he does not anticipate any hostile response over the uniforms, claiming they are no more revealing as what can be seen on Dubai’s many beaches".

Hooters? Scantily cad waitresses? NO HOSTILE RESPONSE?

There are people in this country who made so much fuss over tourists/expats/foreigners ladies who wear shorts or skirts in malls, and put religion and culture into the picture - but they are not going to make fuss over scantily cad waitresses?

Then again, no one seems to make fuss over the thousands of street prostitutes at night either.

Muahahahahahahahah....

This is truly a country ruled by men. A certain breed of men. Not the good kind. Can I get in trouble for that statement?
