Over the weekend, I played at the 24th Abu Dhabi Golf Championship in Al Ghazal Golf Club, which is a SAND COURSE!
Oh my gawd. What a great experience it is to play on a sand course. Its very challenging but its still enjoyable.
Played rather well on both days and came in 2nd place! Lost the trophy by one shot. Which is a shame. But I'll take it anyway. It is tough playing on sand if you're not used to it so being able to finish second is quite cool.
But the best bit - is being able to meet all the ladies in the golf circuit. Theres a few good players out there so would be cool to see how we all pan out through the season.
Overall - great golfing experience and great networking opportunity.
